MAIN OBJECTIVES OF THE ORGANIZAITON

To cause around development to the dalits, depressed and downcast segment of the society in a self-sustained manner with active people’s participation in all the stages of development programs.
To spread literacy and education, both formal and non-formal, among the illiterate, ignorant and other people belonging to the weaker sections of the society.
To work towards holistic & futuristic development of community based on decentralized economy & social justice.

To make community development by involving people for development strategies at grass root level a reality for the people of north east in general & Barak valley districts in particular (Cachar, Karimganj & Hailakandi) in Assam.
To organize the rural women belonging to Dalits, and other backward communities against all types of atrocities, tortures, injustices, discrimination and exploitation and help them in all possible ways to have proper legal protection.
To alleviate the crushing poverty of the rural people in different backward villages in the region of North East by launching different Poverty Alleviation Programs.

To cause socio-economic empowerment of the poor and marginalized groups with a prime focus on the distressed and 4 downtrodden women through direct beneficial programmes and contact.
To form self-help groups among the poorer section of the society and generate savings among them
To conduct different vocational training programs and create employment opportunities for the unemployed young men and women belonging to low socio-economic condition with a prime attention on the distressed and deserted women.

To achieve self-reliance of the poor and vulnerable segment of the society with a prime attention on the distressed and downtrodden women through direct beneficial programmes and contacts.
To optimize the productivity in agriculture, fish-culture and its allied activities in the rural area & thereby maximizing the income level of the poverty-stricken farmers and fishermen through the dissemination of science-based, need-based and result-oriented technologies among the backward peasantry and fishing community.
To develop horticulture in the rural area for the economic betterment of the poor farmers

To introduce multiple and diversified cropping in the rural area and thereby maximizing the income level of the poor farmers through the arrangement of irrigation facilities for the poor farmers
To promote bio-farming and bio-pest management among the farmers in the rural area.
To boost up rural economy through the promotion of Khadi and Village Industries.
To organize relief and rescue programs during the period of natural calamity

To undertake different community development programs in the backward villages including arrangement for low-cost housing, construction of village roads, safe drinking water and sanitation.
To organize different community-based health-care programs in the backward villages with a view to bringing a lasting improvement in the health, hygiene and sanitary condition of the poor villagers
To undertake Integrated Child Development Program, Reproductive Health-Care Program, Mother & Child-Care Program, Nutrition Promotion Programs, Family Planning & Welfare Programs in the backward villages.

To take-up consumer welfare program.
To organize different community-based health-care programs in the backward villages with a view to bringing a lasting improvement in the health, hygiene and sanitary condition of the poor villagers
To undertake Integrated Child Development Program, Reproductive Health-Care Program, Mother & Child-Care Program, Nutrition Promotion Programs, Family Planning & Welfare Programs in the backward villages.
